  • Define key concepts related to inclusion and diversity, including cultural competency and cultural humility, and understand their significance in the workplace
  • Explore the roots of stigma, and how these manifest in the workplace, as well as how consistent policies and laws drive breaking down these barriers
  • Develop skills to respond appropriately to differing cultures, nurturing an environment of awareness that extends beyond assumed categories
  • Learn to apply Pedersen’s developmental model to improve confidence and acquire practical tools and techniques to cultivate a supportive work environment
