CPR/AED Training

Duration: 3 hours for CPR / AED class; 6 hours for CPR / AED and First Aid Training

Best Suited For: All Levels

The AHA Heartsaver® CPR/AED course is geared towards those who are expected to respond to emergencies in the workplace. It is a comprehensive course for the first responder, designed to teach CPR, how to use an AED and how to relieve a foreign-body airway obstruction. It is specifically designed for lay rescuers who are required to obtain a course completion card (or credential) and must be renewed every two years.

The AHA Heartsaver® First Aid course teaches rescuers the knowledge and psychomotor skills needed to recognize emergencies in the workplace and administer first aid. Some rescuers are required to take this course as part of their employer’s effort to comply with Occupational Safety Health Administration regulations. This course may also be a requirement for others whose jobs involve daily interaction with the public, such as law enforcement officers, firefighters, flight attendants, day care workers, and lifeguards.

Class size is limited to 6 participants per class.
