What can I expect at a roundtable event?

Our roundtable events usually include a presentation lasting between 45 minutes and an hour, a Q&A, and a meal. We often gather people at our office in Toledo, Ohio, but we also hold events across the Midwest.

Topics at our events vary. Many presentations are HR-related, covering themes like supervisory skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership development. However, other events focus on broader topics, such as the utilization of benefits, cybersecurity, and more.

No matter the subject, member organizations can send up to two people for free. Non-members can sign up and pay separately.

What can I expect at a WorkSpring conference?

We host multiple recurring conferences throughout the year. Here’s what you can expect from each one:

Annual Meeting – This meeting brings decision-makers together for a group panel and discussion. It often takes place in different locations throughout our NW Ohio community and is open to all members.
THRAC – The Toledo Human Resource Association’s Conference (THRAC) gives HR partners a place to discuss the latest developments in our field. Guests choose from a variety of exciting sessions during this day-long event.
Employment Law Conference – Legal topics are the focus of this day-long affair, which lets participants build a custom schedule full of educational sessions.

What types of events does WorkSpring host?

Every year, we hold three major conferences: THRAC, the Employment Law Conference, and our Annual Meeting. Each conference affords participants an in-depth look at relevant topics.

In addition, we host more frequent roundtable events. These shorter sessions cover general and HR-related matters, such as relationship skills, supervisory tools, and professional development.

We also throw member appreciation events for our incredible community and offer webinars on trending topics to keep our member organizations informed.

How do I sign up for WorkSpring events?

You can sign up for all events through your member portal. Any event management, including session selection at conferences, is also completed in the portal.

Is there a deadline to sign up for events?

Large, in-demand events typically have a registration cutoff (usually 48 hours to one week before they begin). Webinars and community celebrations are typically open until the event’s start time.
